I am 40 and Fabulous
July 21st, 2019 10:00AM EST
Today I write my first blog post as a 40-year old professional woman. How happy I am so write this down formally. Feels good and sounds right!
I continue to work on myself, from time management - i.e. how do I get a podcast, blog, and website done while continuing to work on my career and cook a healthy meal at the same time…. to Stress management. Which there isn’t much to say about stress. I continue to work at it, very tricky as this one plays with your mind. But I can confirm that my stress is thankfully reduced almost entirely due to the support I have daily from my Family. I am very lucky to have my entire family supporting my journey. My professional and personal goals. The only reason i am 40 and fabulous is because of them - all of them, specially my husband, Javier Rondon.
So while I continue to work on the next decade, I put below a quick excerpt of what “bestoflifeonline” saids in terms of 40-year olds! Check this out:
People in the United States are working longer in life than ever before. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor, 40 percent of people over the age of 55 are employed, and those numbers will likely grow in the coming years. In fact, even among so-called “retired” people, 79 percent of them still intend to find some supplemental income, according to the Employee Benefit Research Institute. Today, 40 is no longer the age when most people start think about retiring. It’s the age to start thinking, “Am I in a job I want to keep doing for another few decades and maybe more?”
Of course, not all careers are ideally suited for older adults. Here are 20 jobs that would make any 40-plus-year-old feel financially secure and personally satisfied. https://bestlifeonline.com/best-jobs-if-youre-over-40/
Lets see how I can make them consider “Career Coach” as part of 2020 list!
